Thank you for supporting Unquiet: Rooted in Power. This deck and journal set is not the whole story—there is so much more to unpack, but maybe it can be a start. This set is an introduction, a stepping stone. The obstacles we face as women are vast and layered. From handsy men who treat our bodies like public property to doctors who don't seem to see our bodies at all. There is still so much work to do. But I didn't want this set to be yet another space to explain, justify, or complain about the myriad of ways we are discriminated against or treated as unequal. Instead, it's a space to reconnect with our voice—because we shift every time we face an external or internal obstacle, and we rise. We grow into our power. We turn that unquiet into confidence. Into courage. Into the strength to speak up, stand tall, and take up our rightful space.Some of the topics may bring back painful memories; I know that I was not prepared for the flood of emotions that surfaced while creating this set as I recalled parts of my younger life that, to this day, are still bruised by trauma. It's learning how to honor a painful experience as being part of a story but not our whole story.
